Raw files

Raw statements should be retained only as long as necessary for upload, extraction, verification, and error handling, then deleted under a documented policy.

Durable data

Structured transactions, corrections, reconciliation evidence, and reports may be retained to provide the history selected by the user.

Deletion receipt

The target platform should produce a receipt showing what was deleted, when deletion was requested, and when processing completed.
